Aloha from Waikiki Beach in Honolulu, Hawai'i! The University of Minnesota men's team has certainly enjoyed our long trip out to the Hawaiian Islands for a little bit of "fun in the sun." After transferring to Minnesota this summer and having the best single season I've ever had as a swimmer, it's been amazing witnessing how expectations for myself have naturally risen. After working and lifting myself into a little bit of a hole this past week and a half, the expected has happened, my times are getting slower, I'm feeling sorer, my attitude perhaps taking a bit of a plunge as well.
