Here are a few things I am looking forward to during this weekend's meet in scenic Federal Way, Washington.First, the obvious. This is a mid-season invite, the taper meet for most, if not all participating teams. So we will be seeing some fast swimming (especially if swimmers are equipped in the ever controverial LZR and its ilk). Looking at the psyche sheet, a number of swimmers have already acheived A or B cuts. Look for a lot more to throw their names into the race to beat the line this weekend.Olympians. A thought just occured to me -- how come football and basketball and track are always glorified, but swimming is left behind? Everyone knows it's the hardest sport ever, and amazing. Look at Michael Phelps. That's so unfair. We get left out of morning announcements all the time - you guys too right? OK. Rant over. Just to let you know. :) Pls. reply. okay, today i was talking with one of my friends at school and we were talking about sports and such. then, we got a conversation about the olympics, and of course, into a talk about michael phelps. i was saying, man he's talented and naturally gifted, nobody can beat him. and my friend said he knew who can. wat, who can beat the zen master of swimming i asked. michael jordan he responded.
