#85 | Anonymous Coward said: I couldn't' have said it any better. Very impressive.I don't like Auburn ...I'm a famous Auburn basher ....As a club coach I would never send a kid to Auburn .....DAMN !! They swam fast as sh*! today. |
#84 | |
#83 | texas is oging to have to swim really fast in order to get the win, hopefully they can do it! |
#82 | Aron Nakama said: I sure did. Now I'm more excited than I already was! Should be a great finish. Gig'em AGS!Maybe, but you have forgotten Texas mile swimmers, they have 5 up/ 4 down. Still in favor of Auburn. |
#81 | BH Obama said: I can't stop laughing! Very well put.If you do better than 16.0 I will take away four seconds and give it to the B qualifiers who dont make finals. |
#80 | If you do better than 16.0 I will take away four seconds and give it to the B qualifiers who dont make finals. |
#79 | I could go 15.00 |
#78 | what time does finals start at? |
#77 | Lebron James said: HAHAHA - stick to the powder you land lover and let a real brother show the world what we can do under the sea!If I tried to swim I could go a 16.00 50 free |
#76 | M Phelps said: Thanks for at least letting me keep some records. You lost one last night to Clary and no one cares...he will break your NCAA record, but not he American or US Open record. |
#75 | If I tried to swim I could go a 16.00 50 free |
#74 | go to swimmingworldmagazine.com to watch vids |
#73 | Does anyone know where you can see videos of the races? |
#72 | Auburn is currenty my favorite, but don't count out Texas yet, The mile and diving will be crucial for Texas if they want to make a comeback. |
#71 | he will break your NCAA record, but not he American or US Open record. |
#70 | J said: Not happening if I can prevent it...Looks like Lochte's 200 back record is going down tonight. Clary swam really solid this morning. |
#69 | Tyler Clary just beat my record..congrats to his awesome swim in the 4IM |
#68 | Ricky Berens did not make finals tonight in the 200 fly. Will his morning swim results in a National Title For Auburn? |
#67 | I've always heard black people have denser bone structures and thats why they've never succeeded as a whole in swimming. The whole cultural and socio-class variables may also play a factor, but with these new floatation suits the bone structure theory, if it is indeed true, may not be as big of a factor. And Bradly Aly sure as heck looks like he can jump off the walls like only a black man could :p And yes I know that post was sarcasm.... |
#66 | Looks like Lochte's 200 back record is going down tonight. Clary swam really solid this morning. |
#65 | By the way prelims went, I'm guessing that Auburn wins by about 40 points... |

#62 | it's the 21st century |
![]() #61 | Klueh and Wilcox are gonna have to step up big time in the mile if the Horns want to keep the Tigers in their sights. |
#60 | No matter what happens texas has done great this meet. Its true we really needed scott spann in the breastrokes and for the medley relays....but he will be back for next year. so proud of the freshman and sopres who really have been stepping up like jimmy feigen, bryan collins, and jackson wilcox. Mad props for this ALL AMERICAN team always stepping up and putting it all on the line. |
#59 | Darren give it up Auburn has its guns blazzing!!!!!!! |

![]() #57 | Up/Down (Finals/Consols) for the top six teams. Texas: 4/4 Auburn: 9/3 Stanford: 7/2 'Zona: 5/1 Cal: 5/5 Florida:4/3 For events swum this morning (does not include diving, 1650). |
#56 | bagel man said: Spann hurt himself really bad, and then was really sick. They did lose major points for not having him, but im pretty sure he will be back next year.Yeah lets not forget texas is also down scott spann who would have scored them mad points in breaststroke. I don't know his prospects for next year, or what happend to him this year for that matter, but texas will for sure be in the hunt next year. For as much hype was given to stanford's freshmen class, Texas's has stomped on it at this meet. |
#55 | 41.5 out of Brady ? ...and he SCRATCHED the 100. |
#54 | Minus Diving and 400 FR AU - 8 up/ 3 down UT - 3 up/ 4 down Auburn looks to have sealed the deal. |
#53 | All-American said: Were #2! Were #2!Texas didn't the blow the meet. They have done as well as anyone could against these foreign-led teams. I applaud Eddie for choosing not to go the foreign route. Hook em! |

#51 | AUBURN!!!! for all you haters!!!!! |
#50 | Even if Texas doesn't win this year, they still have a amazing team for next year. Most are juniors, sophmores, and freshmen, so they will be returning. I think they will stomp ncaa's next year |
#49 | Texas didn't the blow the meet. They have done as well as anyone could against these foreign-led teams. I applaud Eddie for choosing not to go the foreign route. Hook em! |
#48 | All-American said: yes, let's build gigantic fences around the pools and check passports...eddie is free to recruit anywhere he wants, if he won't leave the state that is his problem, you are just making excuses for probably blowing the meet today"Mr. master race"? I believe the charge you're trying to level is xenophobe. I think it's ridiculous that we're training our competition. I also think it's great that Texas is beating the hell out these teams with American talent! Way to go Texas! |
![]() #47 | There is a blog coming on this international topic. |

#45 | Reese said in his interview with Garret that he really prepared Klueh for the mile this NCAAs, so maybe he'll have a shot to win. But even so, it is going to be tough for Texas to comeback from this morning (especially with Berens's crippling 200 fly, where I'm sure they were banking on him to make the top 8) |
#44 | Texas has noone in the 200 fly finals, and only one person in the 200 breast, |
#43 | I don't like Auburn ...I'm a famous Auburn basher ....As a club coach I would never send a kid to Auburn .....DAMN !! They swam fast as sh*! today. |
#42 | barring a 1-2 finish in the mile and a great diving round it appears texas isn't going to win this year after all. Then again texas has 2 really good milers and some good divers as well so who knows. What happend to Berrens? |
#41 | game over for Texas, saw'em off Auburn!!! |
#40 | I think Beren's is tired |
#39 | what happened to berens??? |
#38 | Auburn will win. |
#37 | Texas didn't even make it back. |
#36 | Anonymous Coward said: like i said last night...Berens ?????? |
![]() #35 | They may have sealed things up barring a dramatic shift in diving and any possible disqualifications. |
#34 | Berens ?????? |
#33 | Auburn has 2 in finals, 1 in consoles. |
#32 | texas won't win with berens pulling a 2fly like that |
![]() #31 | The only championship they are competing for is the NCAA title. |
#30 | "stroke w/o overhead recovery"??? seems pretty hard to do in fly |
#29 | It's legal. You can recruit foreigners! There's no such title, smart one. |
#28 | Way to go Madson! |
#27 | All-American said: there is no such title mr. master raceNo matter what Texas will again take home the title of best American team. Auburn, Arizona, Cal. ![]() #21 | Sean Mahoney with a 1:51! |
#20 | This will be a great race tonight (200 breast). |
![]() #19 | |
#18 | does anyone know where the video footage of the races can be found? |
#17 | It might come down to the platform diving, Auburn did well in the three meter yesterday. |
#16 | Garrett McCaffrey said: jared white goes from last seed to fifth in the finals...AU is loaded for bear (or steer)Auburn looks like they came ready this morning... 2 heats, 2 Auburn backstrokers go 1:40. |
