whitaker is the real deal

Whitaker was at Olympic Trials in -08, Senior Nats in '07, Open '08, WTC '09 (scored in 4 events, I believe) let alone Australia (medaled) and Guam. Not done anything in a big meet????? Your name speaks volumes as to the validity of and confidence in your comments.

of course his times are good. but i think we can all agree that it's easier to do great times when your chance of winning is very high. it's much harder to do great times when the rest of the USA is breathing down your neck and going after you. kyle has never done a thing at a major meet, period. you simply cannot argue that.

kyle whitaker's times are anything but "small time"

"small-time" whitaker....I'd guess michigan. "small-time" because he's always resting for the small-time meets. who cares how fast you go at the us open when you skip olympic trials, and who cares how many events you win at juniors? how do you miss out on the olymic trials meet, and the chance to swim in front of 10thousand people??

where will whitaker go to college for swimming?

NBAC had some great swims at world champ trials from upcoming seniors with Bryan Offutt mentioned below and Felicia Lee.

bryan offutt popped off a 423 4im at world champ trials. not to mention 204 2fly 207 2im.

yeah can someone please clarify...what is wrong with whitaker's training that would lead you to believe he won't improve substantially?
