Kate is one of the world's premier distance swimmers. In 2007 she broke Janet Evans world record in the 1500 by ten seconds. In 2008 she made her first Olympic team.
Around 20 Olympians as well as multiple national team members come together in what looks on paper to be one of the fastest meets in recent memory. Last year at The Missouri Grand Prix a World and American record fell, proving that Missouri's pool is one of the fastest in the country. Add to that an even deeper, faster field of swimmers and the debut of the new Speedo LZR and we've got the makings for a smoking fast kick off to the long course season. Oh yeah, and the format is set to prep the Olympians for Beijing... we're going prelims at night finals in the morning. Better eat your Wheaties...
