In 37 years on deck, Coach Schubert won over 50 National Team Titles as well as 3 NCAA Team Championships. Mark has been on every Olympic coaching staff since 1980 and has placed nearly 40 swimmers on the US Olympic Team.
Mark is now the USA Swimming National Team Head Coach and General Manager.
Around 20 Olympians as well as multiple national team members come together in what looks on paper to be one of the fastest meets in recent memory. Last year at The Missouri Grand Prix a World and American record fell, proving that Missouri's pool is one of the fastest in the country. Add to that an even deeper, faster field of swimmers and the debut of the new Speedo LZR and we've got the makings for a smoking fast kick off to the long course season. Oh yeah, and the format is set to prep the Olympians for Beijing... we're going prelims at night finals in the morning. Better eat your Wheaties...
