It could be viewed as "intimidating." Eddie's list of accomplishments in the sport of swimming could make a newcomer scarred to meet a man like Coach Reese. But as that… ...More about Eddie
dont be jealous question man. they didnt rest u loser
Question posted June 25 at 9:07pm.
did not rest for ncaas? I wonder how truthful that is.

jim, that's an unfortunate pairing of the whole switching the first letters thing.

the 400's gonna be a killer race 2 watch at trials
Rim Jobertson posted June 21 at 4:53pm.
it was last weekend
Johnny Chimpo posted June 21 at 10:50am.
was that a recent video, i.e. is this a taper practice for trials?
Wustin Dise posted June 21 at 10:22am.
sweet set, totally gnar.
Wee Wee Place posted June 20 at 5:05pm.
resting is a valuable part of training as well though. i would think that if one of those guys popped off a 1:31 or 1:30 it would have been a huge confidence builder.
Why was wearing a LZR? Presumably because he wants to get a feel for the suit he's going to be wearing at Trials. Would you wear a new type of goggles for the first time at the most important meet of your life? Probably not. Same thing should go for the suit.
Anonymous Coward posted June 19 at 9:44pm.
ahh..its long course
never mind
Anonymous Coward posted June 19 at 9:26pm.
i mean it's dece but i've seen girls push 2:50 before with no lzr
I love Eddie's comment on if the first on will be 3:10 'He can't go that slow'
Future Longhorn posted June 19 at 8:25pm.
Nice Jameson, Skeeter Sameson. You always know how to get a laugh Pete.
Homesickle posted June 19 at 6:16pm.
great video, but why the hell were they wearing fastskins? i mean i can see them maybe using fsII's but why were they wearing the LZR?
Solstice D'ete posted June 19 at 3:14pm.
none of them needed to rest for conference ....conference is a A&M -v- Missouri race for second
Scott Newman posted June 19 at 2:13pm.
the womens suits still have a zipper dummy. hes not wearing the suit you are thinking of, his has a zipper
Anonymous posted June 19 at 12:43pm.
yea that suit that kleuh is wearing is a womens suit, the back of it doesnt have a zipper and all the mens suits zip up in the back, its the women's suits that dont
Scott Newman posted June 19 at 12:36pm.
yeah will we get to see what the other guys were doing, it looks like they were sitting on the blocks when this set was going on
Liberty Valance posted June 19 at 11:37am.
I heard there is a problem with the LZRs fitting well. I think of lot guys are wearing womens 27s or 28s. apparently speedo made all the sizes to large. womens suits! its only a matter of time before they are dressing in drag.
Swim Gal posted June 19 at 10:29am.
dang he was fast
that suit didn't look like it fit well
when it said part 1, does this mean that we will see the rest of the team in a part 2?
Anonymous Coward posted June 19 at 9:08am.
its texas. and eddie is one of the most powerful men in usa swimming. what eddie wants, eddie gets.
Geezer posted June 19 at 6:22am.
Wait, the rested "a little" for Santa Clara but not NCAA's..haha
Aside from that, Klueh should def go under 347 after going 410 at NCAA.
But what I want to know is how is the LZR so readily available that they can train in it
Anonymous Coward posted June 19 at 3:46am.
show brendan hansen training....Eddie : the best coach in the world

Skeeter Sameson posted June 18 at 9:00pm.
In answer to what was David Walters and Ricky doing doing during this set, they were playing sharks and minos in the hot tub. Great set by Klueh he has the potential to have a gnar butter 400
Texas Fan posted June 18 at 8:11pm.
yeah....what is the rest of the team doing, it would have been nice to see others like dave and ricky on this video!!
Swimmer posted June 18 at 7:22pm.
NC's may be the biggest meet of the year, but for most is overshadowed by the biggest meet every 4 years.
Swimmer posted June 18 at 7:20pm.
I can imagine that a majority of the crowd that is ranked top in the country Walters, Klueh exc. wanted to do really well at trials. Eddie and the team prolly wanted to win conference so they rested like a week because they wanted to get back to training. Look at how many longhorn swimmers are going to trials...
if you listened eddie said that he didnt rest dave and michael but the rest of the team rested for NCAAs and they were not rested for conference
Anonymous Coward posted June 18 at 6:56pm.
thats bull that they didnt rest for ncaas. what team would not rest the the biggest meet of the year. thats waht coach reese wants people to think. they were flat because they obviously were so rested for conference. they had no reason not to rest. they had no foreigners to keep up for their countries trials.
Anonymous Coward posted June 18 at 6:42pm.
That's because they were rested for conference.... ohhhhh
SwimmingFrEaK ;) posted June 18 at 6:40pm.
wow, look at all those guys in speedos, how yummy!!
whoa whoa whoa did Coach Reese just say they didn't rest for NCAA's??
Reswim posted June 18 at 6:19pm.
I think the 400 is going to be the most intense race of the meet. I think PVK will win but 2nd is up in the air between Vendt, Keller, Jensen, and Kleuh. Keller seems to be the sleeper pick. There hasn't been much hype behind the former American record holder, but he is always cluth. I can't wait.
Liberty Valance posted June 18 at 5:37pm.
What was the rest of the team doing? It just seems like the Michael Kleuh show. Anyone else agree?
Anonymus Anonymus posted June 18 at 4:46pm.

this is absolutely disgusting definitely wouldnt be surprised to see klueh take jensen in the 400
Acslater posted June 18 at 3:18pm.
and 7 guys under 3:47? definately...im going to go as far as to predict 4 guys under 3:45 with the top two pushing a sub 3:43 swim
theres no chance phelps and lochte will swim the 400...they are going to have enough onn their respective plates to make it a physically tough meet without a 400 free
Anonymous Coward posted June 18 at 2:17pm.
yeah i think so too and lazy...i'm not sur if lochte and phelps are gonna swim the 400...they are on the psyche sheet but it's just after the 400 im...
Lazy Login'er posted June 18 at 1:18pm.
Just when I thought the 400 looked like it was gonna be a dog fight with PVK, Keller, Vendt, Jensen, Phelps, and Lochte, Kleuh goes and does this... Damn you, Eddie!!! How am I supposed to accurately predict who's going to win things if you keep allowing Garrett to post these video's!!! Now I have absolutely no idea what's gonna happen, except that there are 7 dudes who can legitimately go sub 3:47... Amazing. This and the 200 are going to be so deep...
In part one of Taper at Texas we watch Michael Klueh descend down in three 300s. Being on deck with Eddie Reese is always fun...
