i agree with coachK. if there was one program in the world to be following, especially in june of an olympic year, it would be texas, hands down. they have world-class swimmers in every stroke, and arguably the best coaching staff in the business. i don't think i'll ever tire of watching these guys.
Excellent interview as always Garrett. Your videos from Texas, one of the top swimming programs in the freaking world, are such a great resource. Down with haters! hahaha.

He seems like a very good guy overall. One of the best attitudes ive seen in sports. Very sharp guy. Good luck at trials.

One of the real good guys in our sport. Thoughtful, caring, focused, funny, interesting and cool. And he's a heck of swimmer too! Good Luck Ian, there are a whole bunch of out here rooting for you and your teammates. Tear'em up!

it always amazes me that a swimmer so fast has chubby cheeks. great interview though...he's a pretty sharp guy.
Taper Talk, With Ian Crocker
It's Monday, June 23rd, 2008. 6 days out from Olympic Trials. I poked my head into Longhorn practice to see what was going on, and look who sat down to talk. It's always a great interview with Ian, because he really listens to questions and gives intelligent, insightful, and most importantly real answers.
I'm earning my floswimming shirt getting taper interviews around me. Your turn. Upload an Olympic Trials video to this coverage page and I'll send you a floswimming shirt. June 23, 2008
