thanks darren, i would have never guessed that. i thought it looked like a tracer rise. it seems to be very reflective in the same parts that the rise has its polyurethane coating.

too bad we can't get arena in the states. i swam with kaan tayla for a few years and he would only wear arena. good suits.

F, did you happen to see what suit he was wearing? i can't make out the type of bodysuit most of these guys are wearing from the video.

i guess i have been proven wrong. i've never seen damir swim in person so i only can go by what i've seen on garretts videos. one thing i actually did adapt in my race that damir, and a lot of breaststrokers outside of the US do is placing my dolphin kick at the front of the pull out as soon as the hands separate. believe me there is no doubt that this guy is talented, i'm just not seeing it in his technique but if you say he has it, i'll believe you, F, seeing as though you've actually seen him swim in person.

to the guy that felt the need to leave the immature response to my posting. grow up. say something productive next time like pointing out something that damir does really well.

How come all of the other 6'7" guys out there arent anywhere near as good as this guy? Almost all other great breastrokers are small. Think up a new excuse as to why you are slow and then get back to us. Thanks

andrew- I disagree with you, I watched this guy swim this past weekend and I think despite these two kicks, he has a great stroke and he is fast because of his technique not just his size...

another thing is that there's really nothing special about this guys stroke. just helps to be 6'7" / 230 lbs. his good time just seems to be a biproduct of his size. when i watch guys like these i wish i was 5 inchest taller.

he's guilty but a lot of people are doing that. not so much in this heat but check out the game invite. the syracuse breaststroker took like 4 dolphin kicks off the start of the 200.

on another note, does anyone know what bodysuit they're all wearing. as a breaststroker myself i am looking for a comfortable full body suit.

You guys are so full of it. There are no dolphin kicks, just a really good dive.

yup i see it, i wouldn't have noticed it if you hadn't pointed it out ak, but yeah he def does..."don't see dirty" he's referring to the two kicks right after his feet enter the water...right after the start, not during his pullout... Whether this helps significantly or not, I dont know....

I don't see what you're talking about. There's an upsweep but not anything more than the rest of the heat. The guy was pretty blatant about kicking twice off all the walls in the UW dual meet, but this swim looks legit to me...

check out damir throwing down 2 dolphin kicks right as he enters the water...cheater.
