I found myself wanting to go back to portions of this interview and found it time consuming to find things in the "uncut" format. For those of you with the same situation, I found referring to the 4 separated interviews listed under more Bob Bowman videos much easier to refer to.
Having said that, I found the "uncut" version valuable as an indicator of just how easy it is for Bowman to answer some very in depth questions without even pausing for his response. I think that indicates a really grounded approach which one might expect based on his obvious success.
The willingness of the coaching community to share has been stated numerous times as the strength of our sport. (Too bad USA Swimming doesn't want to share more). I think interviews such as this one would be the most supported by coaches visiting the site, am I correct? I support this choice as a solid #2.
my coaches praise mr. bowman. watever he's say'd about michael phelps, my coaches will recite it. watever he says is good technique, our coaches will immediately change our stroke
Wow, watching all of that really puts the usefulness of the videos available on this site in perspective.
I liked hearing his stories about riding a horse and his troubles at NCAAs with Michigan and Phelps stories.
This is definitely a great pick for number 2.
Can't wait to see what number 1 is!
Or is success a result of the top level swimmer's confidence?
