The SMU pool seems to be set up backwards in regards to lane numbering. Usually, lane one is at the right hand side of the pool when standing on the blocks (except in the LC 50 meter). This pool has lane 1 on the left... kind of odd.

SMU.. 1, 2, 3 in the 50! Nice! SMU was always known for breeding sprinters.. Who is this Greg Doughty kid? Looks like he will become a force for the SMU sprinters in the next few years

Its true it used to be the basketball court back about fifty years ago before it was turned into the natatorium. and hasn't changed since.

They were talking about home field advantage. This is something that I feel usually only comes into effect because of travel, hotels, and cramped buses. There are some pools however I think home field plays more of a role, and SMU is one of them. Their Nat is small and jam-packed for meets. A couple of years ago we went to the men's SMU classic and it was loader than any meet I had ever been too, barring SEC's and NCAA's. Also, its really old, I heard that the building once housed SMU's basketball court, not forsure if that is true or not, pretty cool of it is though.

Would have been nice to see some clips of some of the guys you talked about. I know there are some clips from the meet you guys caught. Also pictures to show who these guys are would be awesome too!

Great preview! I didn't realize how many top guys would be at this meet!
