He brings championship experience to the program from his time as a swimmer at the University of Texas. In Austin Tommy was a 17-time all american, three time NCAA champion, and team captain his junior and senior year. Internationally he represented the USA three times, earning gold medals as part of relays at 2 different events including the 2000 Olympic Games.
