wow! thats the type of stroke that you see little kids doing in summer league cause they don't really know how to swim. its slow and pointless its not like freestyle or breaststroke done correctly aren't low profile enough.
SEALs have to swim many, many miles while creating a lot profile (not splashing) and being aware of their surroundings. Unlike us prissy lap swimmers, they have to worry about things like energy conservation and overall life-and-death survival. They also use this stroke for energy conservation. You don't do freestyle or breatstroke for miles on end.

What's with all the anti-military swim-snobs on this site?

is this a a recruitement site for NAVY Seals now. All due respect to the SEALS but why so many videos on the SEALS. SEALS kick ass but the site seems to be straying into military recruitment territory ?

Because the site WAS the best site for swimming interviews, videos, and news. And I continue to hope that it will get back to where it was.

If you don't like what is being posted on this website why do you visit it? I just can't understand why anyone would spend their time going to a site just to about how bad that site is! I'm sure you've got better things to do with your time.

I don't hate the military, I just think this is the wrong place for military stuff to be posted. This is a COMPETITIVE swimming site, or WAS a competitive swimming site. I would have no problem with this stuff being here as long as it wasn't the ONLY THING that is new on the site. Letting Garrett go was the worst mistake Flowswimming could have made. Everyone out there should check out swimnetwork for some videos and stuff. Although it doesn't have Garrett, it's a whole lot better than what Flowswimming has become.

first off garrett made this video so it would be up here regardless of his employment. second, theres no way you could beat anywhere near 99% of navy seals. have some respect man these guys have 10 times the heart, guts, and athletic ability that you have. if ur really that fat and disgusting maybe you should do some of this navy seal training so your life wont be so miserable.

I am thirty pounds overweight and could probably beat 99% of naval seals in any competitive swimming event. You might as well just shut the site down this is useless.

Mad Props to the Seals especially seal team for and Toddy Sandstrom.....But Maybe if your guy had half a brain he would relate to how this relates to our sport. Maybe you should check out the marines and their runs and post it on flotrack cause I think the training is the same.

These guys in the videos protect our country. Find another video to hate on. We get it that you are unhappy and are trying to ruin the site. But really, take it to another place, not our military, show some respect

i hear that the Floreani brothers have produced their own www involving them knocking out a few 25s dogpaddle, a bit of gatodade chugging and then one of them getting saved by the lifeguard- not quite the caliber of an auburn set

Why does this say created by Martin Floreani, when clearly it is Garrett's video. This site sucks terribly now. That was a great WWW this week, oh wait, there was none. I don't want to hear the stupid excuse, Garrett just left, blah, blah, blah. If this decision was supposed to make floswimming better, then the flo brothers a freakin idiots! Great video GARRETT, by the way.

Navy SEAL Swimming Technique

We get an inside look from a former Virginia Tech Swimmer on the Navy SEAL side stroke. We also went out on the open water to see the SEALs in their domain.
