His senior year, he was a runner up at the Washington State Championships in the 50 Free.
After 5 years of collegiate swimming, he hung up the goggles as a national qualifier in both backstrokes and graduated with a degree in Broadcast Journalism from The University of Missouri.
A few months after he graduated he started floswimming.org.
