AU workouts have been by far the best ones on flo...keep em coming!
PKistheshit.com posted November 1 at 2:30pm.
PK is great strength coach because he is a great coach. He understands more than just the physical component of training.
Brad posted November 1 at 1:16am.
yeah what "question?" said
Question? posted October 30 at 8:11am.
Karkoska has been the strength coach to some of the greatest sprinters in history... Cielo, Bousquet, Hawke, Pilczuk, Bovell, Lundquist, Puninski and many more. How is this guy not the most respected strength coach. Shouldn't we be doing videos on him? Gambetta...are you serious?
AU Fan posted October 30 at 8:05am.
Still the original and the best! We need more AU workouts.
Maliah Grim posted October 4 at 5:22pm.
The chains that they are working on are a really good help for their swimming technique. It helps your core stability, and is also good for when you need to balance on the blocks, because I am of balance sometimes. I think this would be very good for a dryland workout for when I get older, but for now I am going to stay with the basics. Well done you guys!
Adam Depmore posted September 23 at 11:21am.
Does anyone know Cielo's Vertical jump?
Brett Lemire posted July 1 at 2:40pm.
The chains are excellent for integrating stabilization or balance training component with the variety of phasic limb movements necessary for swimmers. It makes sense for swimmers who need whole body exercises and not the traditional strength to power paradigm.

hi,

someone knows the song's name?
Gage Barry posted June 16 at 9:52am.
It's to bad theres not a video of these guys doing the TRX stuff for the first time. It's always hilarious to watch people do the bands for the first time.
Guy77 posted June 15 at 1:34pm.
How about the other 80% of the Auburn team? What do they do because I know they do not do this!
A posted June 13 at 7:27pm.
sorry for being more interested in the swimming aspect of the sport and wanting to watch what i do. i dont need to be "spoon fed," nor am i saying to not have drylands at all, i just think the dry lands are getting too boring and i want to see some fast, interesting sets. Plus there are way too many auburn videos up here and, maybe cuz im a distance swimmer, id rather see sets than strength training .
DB posted June 13 at 6:30pm.
Monkey, you are right about everything except you are the ugly one. PK is still awesome!
The Monkey posted June 13 at 2:08pm.

Mr. A, since you do not even have the balls for a fake name. What you consider modified, I would call a lack of motivation. Everyone has land, everyone here mostly likely has some kind of pool time. The real problem here is your lack of creativity. You want someone to hand you the magic wand. Think outside the box. And just maybe, you might learn something new. Stop expecting to be spoon feed swimming knowledge.
PK is awesome! But he is still ugly!

pk is awesome!!

what's so ugly?
A posted June 12 at 2:09pm.
I dont know about everyone else, but i want to see some more actual swimming sets. Its interesting see what these elite level swimmers do to train outside the pool, however, i'd rather see some fast swimming like the the usc, minnesota, and the multiple texas practices earlier posted. Also, most swimmer can do modified versions of those sets but, because of lack of equipment or other reasons, these dry lands cant always be done, so it doesnt really help to watch them. After all we are swimmers.
The Monkey posted June 12 at 10:51am.
Jesus' I ain't never seen such an ugly weight coach before. The boys look good. Keep it up.

Great variety, keep it up!!

Anonymous Coward...I think the reason there have been so many recent dryland sets is that this site can easily go to southern colleges and tape what they do...the majority of the videos are from SEC/Big 12 Schools/teams on training trip in the south...and its just that time of the season right now...obviously kids that have a shot at the Olympics/doing well at trials are swimming hard but are now starting their taper...teams just arent pounding out the yardage right now...most colleges in the spring focus more on getting stronger than getting in shape for an ironman
Billy posted June 11 at 3:48pm.
Cool workout dryland activity, I bet they hurt after the first time they did that!
Anonymous Coward posted June 11 at 3:09pm.
to be honest, im tired of drylands, circuits and small technique sets....i love it but it's just getting a little old. I want to see some good yards done, like the first 4 videos on here
2 GOODY posted June 11 at 2:34pm.
Great video, work out is great, but why is james wike so small he needs to bulk up. i think his forearms got smaller from the last video.
Mitchell Straub posted June 11 at 1:21pm.

He MUST be in the Order of the Minotaur...no one else would know such things.
Matt posted June 11 at 12:01pm.
Chains work the same as TRX training ropes we use at our y... they were doing the same type of exercises.
Nate posted June 11 at 11:48am.
Hell of a coach, even better person, and the magic dust so often talked about. The Bear is proud.
swimmd posted June 11 at 11:44am.
good workout, btw.
swimmd posted June 11 at 11:44am.
Probably not osgood-schlatter disease since that's usually caused by growth in height + overuse. Could be anything but those bands just decrease force on the patellar (over the knee) tendon. Good for loose swimmer joints.
Blahblah posted June 11 at 11:42am.
dang that was intense
Knees posted June 11 at 11:15am.
Flyguy133---I think those are bands for oshgood-schlatters. My friend has oshgood-schlatters and she has to wear a band like that when she runs and stuff.
Music posted June 11 at 11:11am.
the music is a little too loud while they are talking...in my opinion
Flyguy133 posted June 11 at 10:59am.
what is cielo wearing around his knees?
Cardinal '12 posted June 11 at 10:54am.
Good stuff. I like the idea of stability in a dry land workout.
