I feel the head position is not bad on swimmer #1, he should lean back through his shoulder blades as one solid piece from hips to shoulders. This would cause the body position to even out more. Also on the turn, looking is not the most efficient. As found out at a clinic, the stroke before the turning/free pull should be strong. Also a faster flip and higher foot position will result in carrying the speed through the turn better. The underwaters are good, possibly a straight line, trying to keep the hands (shoulders up to head) more still. Lastly, it looks as if your right hand is anchoring quicker than your left. Try to match your left to your right hand.
The second swimmer is doing this well, you see his upper torso is lower, but his hips are even with them. His kick is a littelt to big and the hands are swimming around above his head which would lead me to believe he is crossing over. Pretty good underwater work a with solid streamline. He should try accelerating the kick and decreasing amplitude to a small & fast flutter kick.
#3 Nice overall body position, hips could be a touch higher. The tempo could also a bit faster. Pretty sure that turn was illegal with a little bit of over rotation, but for the most part it was good.
#4 Good underwater athlete, with good overall body position. I would suggest not throwing so hard towards the bottom with the pull as I would think about throwing towards your toes.
#5 (Female) Hips are a bit low and stroke is nice, but the turnover and speed could be higher. A commitment to swimming with strength and speed will result in a fast backstroke.
Sorry, gotta go to work...
to swimming #1 your hips are sitting low in the water...tilt your head back to fix this problem. also, don't lift your head to look at the wall on your turn. if you watch the second swimmer, his hips are not sinking like yours
