Executed as well as Adam Mania does here,it will not merit a DQ in my experience of doing this turn. Officials have a lot of trouble with it- at a recent meet, I was about a foot from even touching the wall and was not called.

hm... the way i do this turn is straight over on my back and do a backflip, but ive never seen this before... and no, i doubt that its a dq, seeing as he is still on his back
the best back to breast turns are borderline disqualification.

Yes other swimmers do that it is a crossover turn. but rule 101.6.3B (2) states that you must touch on your back. If your hips are past vertical (as they are here) then you are not on your back. hence DQ

It's riding a very fine line but from my 5 years as a Stroke & Turn official, I could not call that a DQ as the swimmer is not CLEARLY no longer rotated towards the back prior to the touch.
