Can it give verbal commands to swimmers?
Does it give a natural feel for the water to those swimmers who don't have it?

Is it one of those things that makes the kids feel like they can do something when they really can't? That would be a bummer!
Make it do more awesome things! Like electric shock if you do the turn incorrectly or stay on the arm rest too long.
Make it give lots of robotic positive reinforcement, for the enjoyment of all to hear.
Make sure the robot voice doesn't sound too real, but more like a robot.
