I remember seeing that one, but it didn't show up under the related Auburn videos so I thought maybe it disappeared or I imagined seeing it. Seems like it is alive and well and I am not that crazy.

these guys are amazing. they are incredibly fast and their workouts are very specific. no one should give them any for what they do or don't do in their videos. keep up the good work!
PS: i love the supportive atmosphere they keep between each other.

its not just the fact that they can do pullups, its how they did them. who would of thought to do them with only your fingers? or by using a rope? and like garrett said these are just demonstrations of what they do, not a real workout. this wasn't suppose to be real intense, it was just to show everyone what kind of dryland auburn sprinters do. i really like this video, and i cant wait for part 2. i want to see more of what auburn does, whether its demonstrations or an actual workout. thanks garrett for posting this

I'm going to have to agree with not impressed. I was expecting some really innovative things in this video but they don't really do anything that I haven't seen before at the local gym. Body position drills are not anything new. Doing planks with one arm up and one leg up is a pretty common exercise and is almost exactly like what you see cielo doing. I was definitely expecting some more explosive exercises but this is only part one. To be honest, all i saw in this video was a bunch of guys messing around in the gym with one another. I'm not expecting them to do anything crazy in the weight room because they are swimmers after all, but it would be nice to see some intensity and watch the guys get some real reps in.

I have already stated that these guys are amazing swimmers... I couldn't go 18.4 or 40.9 with fins on for god's sake... All I said was that I was expecting to be shocked by what they do in the weight room and I was not. And yes, I know there is a part two which is why I said hopefully that one will be better. You guys gotta quit drooling over these guys for doing pull-ups... Yes, give them props for their swimming, bc I do, but damn... Millions of average athletes in this country can do freaking pull ups

for real...all you guys gotta stop hating. Whether you think its impressive or not, they were cool enough to show us some basic stuff that they do..AFTER the hard stuff. It was actually pretty interesting and sparks alot of ideas so no need to hate on it because maybe you can do it. By the way...does 18.47 and 40.9 impress you?!?! because i speak for more than just myself when i say IT DOES...so chill

I think Garrett is right... This isn't their everyday workout, just a demonstrations; wait to see part 2; and stop hating. This site wasn't made for people to fight and bicker, it was made to bring together the swim community and work as an idea-sharing medium for people to improve and have fun swimming, not a pissing-contest platform.

"not impressed":I just don't see the point of you commenting this video just to say how unimpressed you are by how some of the world's greates sprinters are training. You are saying how unimpressed you are, yet chances are you have no idea what these guys have done in the pool and in the weight room before this video was filmed. My whole point with this and my first post was that you and other ignorant people should just keep your mouths shut.
p.s.
please put the video of you doing this workout as soon as possible(if you cannot post it here youtube would be fine)...I need a good laugh.

I don't care where youre coming from, all this body weight stuff is relatively easy. the results do speak for themselves, but look how fast they are when they come into Auburn. They just maintain what they have and get quicker in the water. I dont care about results in the pool, this workout that is posted right here is not impressive by any means.
