Elissa! You did not give up your love of the sport of swimming and it has paid off. Great dedication and determination. Good luck in your senior year!

Sometimes a swimmer has to seriously look at a coach or vise versa, and decide if the training philosophy is working toward improvement or not. There are so many different types of coaches - and programs.
Surely there is a program and a coach for every swimmer in the USA no matter the ability level or training philosophy. That is, if they have the means to find or locate it.
I appreciate (love!) the Floswimming interview videos with the coaches.
There are so many variations of coaching philosophy - and personalities.
As a swimmer and a coach, I continually learn from these leaders in the sport.
The biggest name school or swim club may not be the place to swim if you can't mesh at some level with the coach!

Great video Elissa! I'm glad we got to work together during most of your college career and your success is a strong testament to the countless hours you've spent in the athletic training room. Good luck this year!

"And now for the rest of the story." How many Ellisa's are lurking out there that didn't finish the story like she did. Talk about not becoming a victim!

wow, what a trooper! swimming is such a special sport, because of the tremendous ups and downs that can happen very quickly. it just makes swimmers that much tougher in life.
