I agree, and Thomas invented the much improved model. All swimmers have duck tape wood and sometimes sandals, not pieces of plastic and elastic straps... geez... "The Rack"?!? psh

Maybe all of that was sarcasm.
What Thomas didn't show were the splinters lol.
Yea rip those tendons, get the calf to the wood! Champions actually touch their toes to their calf. j/p
Good video though! I have already seen improvements stretching my ankles over the past 6 weeks fairly consistently although I do not have this cool devise or the earlier FINIS model... .lol

I heard an old story about Counsilman inventing something similar at Indiana. They would soak their ankles is the hottub, strap them in as stretched as they could to a plank of wood like above, and then jam their strapped foot into a bucket of icewater. Anyone else hear this one or is it a folktale?

Marty Hull, the inventor of Zoomers, developed an ankle stretching device some years ago built around the same principles but engineered, obviously, with better materials.
