Tyler's coach in Fullerton was Kevin Perry. Kevin was an amazing man who died of prostate cancer last year.

I find it interesting that the coach who picked him up as a freshman in high school in Fullerton and sent him to the University of Michigan as a Junior National Champion in multiple events is never mentioned by name. Most coaches can't identify themselves enough with a top flite talent.
