On 1:00?! That takes some major skill to be able to do 15 on let alone, and going an average of 52 mids is just incredible

Awesome set. We did similar sets in Mission in the late 70's. For most of us it was an open turn. Brian Godell would get a few seconds rest.

the other swimmers were tapering for big 12s and Michael wasn't resting more than a few days. that's why he's swimming by himself

Good video. Pretty impressive set but normal for a Division 1 distance program and odd he is swimming alone. Yes no one else on texas could stay with him on the set but they have no other distance simmers for him to train with?

Un-BUH-leivable. Averaged mid 52s for that swim. My sprint time is better than that but then again, after the first 100, I'd be hanging on the wall watching him swim another 3-400 before I could even think about going again. Wow.

What does this say about the mind set of the Texas program when this kind of set is being done in lane 7 of a normal day with no fanfare and others quietly doing there thing in adjacent lanes? The coaches really have a handle on these swimmers it appears. (But I still hate their football team).
