Angela McCollam posted November 10 at 10:30pm.
I miss seeing the U Of A before i swam just have such an amzing team to watch for few minutes made you want to work harder to try to work as hard as them. I'm a Ford swimmer that swims after there done with pratice so i really miss them since i went awy for college. They always have some of the funest hardest sets. GO WILDCATS!
Maliah Grim posted October 19 at 11:04am.
that looks kind-of hard but i would like to try it but on a slower interval
Jennuh posted October 4 at 1:35pm.

This is the video that made me fall in love with Floswimming.com

Frank Busch,
"Ok on the top 24 X 100s kick...Even ones are as FAST as you can go!"
Fast kicking - power towers hangin overhead - Gatorade Jugs at every lane - simon burnett - go together - lanelines are OFF limits! - wonder if Auburn is pulling on lanelines today? - "Lets' go guys" - roland schoeman - We gotta be better - come on! - 27.0 at the feet - last one... come on guys - all you got - 58.60
Hey lets' float a 50 on your back....
(pretty sure I did this kick set with AZ)
NCAA Champions know how to KICK!
Too Slow For Arizona posted May 27 at 8:24pm.
yea thats very impressive, but its funny that even after Frank Busch said to avoid lanelines, roland schoeman still did it.

i guess it doesnt matter, he's still phenomenal.

2 National Championships...impressive enough
Coach_x posted May 6 at 10:43am.
good enough to sweep NCAA's.... quit the bashing & whining. Frank's the man, a true class act and a good friend. Frank & Rocket have created one of the best training situations out there.
Swimmer_x posted May 6 at 9:49am.
not impressive... and i've never seen such bad walls on kicking
Breadswimmer posted March 10 at 7:41pm.
Why is Roland kicking backstroke? Isnt better to try a kick of one of ur main events!?
Ellen_x posted February 21 at 1:18pm.
Any one who is a fan of swimming, a coach or was a swimmer in college can look at the yearly season's end results for Arizona and be impressed. No doubt, any school in the top 5 in Div 1 are getting great coaching. Obviously, Coach Busch and coaching staff know how to train and develope great swimmers. Every coach trains and motivates their teams differently.
I was a NCAA Div 1 swimming finalist and so was my husband and occasionally we pulled on the lane line during backstroke in practice. I do not see what the big deal is. No one is perfect all the time... even champions.

I swim with a transfer out of Arizona who is an incredible butterflyer, Darren Maxwell, and when I hear about the sets at Arizona, and the way these guys push eachother, I know that these guys are putting all their effort into this. These guys push eachother to the point of either swimming or kicking incredible, or if its one of those days that they dont feel that good, they expect you to be vomiting at the end of the set because you worked so hard to make it good. I give all these guys props on that set.

Exactly!!! I agree with pilotswim5!
Louis Bunch posted December 23, 2007 at 11:23pm.
i like how people criticize how they are not impressive, yet these people account for so many indvidual NCAA records and champions.
Kevin Zakrzewski posted December 21, 2007 at 1:11pm.
I think a lot of you guys are forgeting that they are KICKING. Not swimming or pulling! To hold under 1:10 for a 100 K is pretty fast, under 1:05 is good, and under 1:00 is great. I'm a firm believer of the metality that you can't be a world class swimmer without being a worldclass kicker. The of the main reasons why I got so much better was because of my kick. It hink the best I ever did on a set like that is 1:15 but it was BR.

Also, it hink it's rather weak for anyone to pull on the laneline. Can't pull on it in a race so why do it in practice...right?!!!
Scokie_x posted December 18, 2007 at 11:28pm.
that's bull. if you've ever been to NCAA champs and seen burnett or subirats swim, you wouldn't question their ability to kick as it's what literally sets them apart from everyone else they race. i don't care what kids go, college swimmers are a much different story, and I don't care if it was on 2 minutes with an easy between, when your legs are that dead, 2 minutes isnt much, not to mention it's ALL OUT, not fast, you're bound to die.
