Bz - I would hope no one reacts like that. That was classless.

Geez - why can't anyone just say it - he was classless in that video - so what?
He obviously is quite full of class now. He handled himself amazingly at the the Games.
We all grow and learn.
Again - Congrats Cesar

How does that video show little class? He won a freaking NCAA title and in the fastest time in history...who wouldn't react like that!? If you say you wouldn't...you are a liar.

The funny part in that video is that Garrett Weber-Gale and Ben W-T were in the video as well. That celebration looked like a little much but last night was great to see. Seeing him getting emotional, I thought was great.

Who here wouldnt mind seeing Phelps cry IF he wins gold tonight/this morning?

I think Cielo has matured since 2007. I believe that video was his first individual NCAA title so I can at least sort of understand that kind of reaction.

In response to Dylan F's video and Garrett's post there... I agree that shows little class... but I genuinely don't think he knew any better at the time. He showed a lot of passion when he won the gold in the 50m and he was a pretty gracious winner there... he even cried. The BIG surprise, though, was Alain Bernard being so happy for Amaury and Cesar. That I didn't expect.

Dylan F. - I don't know Cesar but that video you posted certainly shows a guy with little class - at that moment at least.

The thing is we are not men of single moments. It seems like the people who knows him is genuinely happy for him.
Congrats Cesar

He is great! I am so happy for him - he is a student of the sport and he is so genuinely enthusiastic that you can't help but be happy for him.
