A former world record holder in the 1500 free, 400 free, and 4x100 free relay, Rick was named World Swimmer of The Year as a senior in high school. He earned titles at US Nationals, Pan American Championships, World Championships, and at the Olympics.
Rick has been coaching at University of Arizona for over 20 years now, and is recognized throughout the swimming community as one of the best spint coaches in the world.
As an artist, some of Rick's paintings have been displayed in local and national galleries.
